Weird Type of Harmony

If you skip the first 10 seconds of what I think is an ad, I’m pretty sure this is at Pipeline on Oahu. Sorry, I can’t get the embed code to render correctly. We were there in January and spent the morning on the beach. This video shows the power of the waves and the skill of the surfers. Yet, I find it soothing. It’s probably the music but it seems these guys are in harmony with the water. You can tell a guy filmed it when you get to 1:25 on the time line. Interestingly, we saw as many female surfers as guys. Here’s a photo of one woman who just finished a session at Pipeline.
When do you feel most in harmony with your environment?

I feel most in harmony with the environment when I am at the beach and it is sunny and warm
Cool video. I like watching the other surfers in the water too ducking out of the way of the one on the board in parts of it. Running the “loop” behind my childhood home. How about you?
@Rabbit Legs, I might have guessed!
@Soccermama, My harmony would be running (a boat) between waves that are nearly breaking over a sandbar. You need total concentration.
Sean, great video! I grew up in Southern California so I know exactly what you’re saying about being in harmony with your environment. Now that I live in the midwest, I find myself wanting to go home just to reconnect to my roots. The sea breeze, warm sunshine and walking around Balboa Island is when I am most in harmony with my environment!
@Kristen, That must have been hard to move away from the ocean. Thanks for commenting!
